This is a WinXP SP3 system. When I watch a flash video, the audio works fine until it stops working. If I restart the system, the audio works again. This occurs on every browser (Firefox, Explorer, Safari) and for windows system sounds. The audio for Windows media player continues to work fine and doesn't experience any problem.
I uninstalled the flash player and re-installed but that didn't change the problem.
I think I should go back to an earlier version of Flash player but don't know which version to download. Version 10.3 in the Adobe download area seems to indicate that it is for MAC.
