Google Chrome not refreshing Flash content properly?

I am encountering an issue with Google Chrome and Flash Player 12.0.0.77.

I have a SWF file set up like a tutorial, with multiple pages that are each on their own frame. A navigation button at the bottom triggers a gotoAndStop on MouseEvent.CLICK to branch to the next 'page'.

It happens inconsistently, but on occasion, when I click the navigation button and do NOT MOVE THE MOUSE, the gotoAndStop does not fire. At least, it does not seem to fire. The screen continues displaying what it was displaying. On occasion this lasts ~5-15 seconds, after which the screen displays the content properly from the new frame (note that I have not moved the mouse or provided ANY user interaction during this time).

When I am caught in one of these refresh loops (waiting for the screen to change), if I move the mouse off or onto a portion of the screen where there is a screen element that interacts with the mouse, then the whole screen instantly refreshes to display what it should. If I change the window dimensions or right click and select Zoom In, the whole screen also refreshes properly at this time.

I have tested the same content in Firefox and IE versions of the Flash Player and have NEVER encountered this issue.

I'm hoping somebody can help, because this is a major responsive issue with our software when users click a button to branch to another 'page' and the player just sits there. We most certainly cannot tell users to move the mouse wildly if the screen isn't changing in order to display the new page properly.

Thanks!
