Flash on IE11/Win7/64bit doesn't display on some sites

Going to TFLCar.com and navigating to a page with a video (eg, http://www.tflcar.com/2013/12/loveland-gauntlet-2014-lexus-lx570-goes- into-the-blizzard/), or going to Volkswagen's site, http://www.vw.com/en.html, the box where flash is supposed to be is blank. On youtube, the player works fine. I can right click and see the context menu, including the version: 11.9.900.152.

On a videon (eg at TFLCar.com), if I can guess where the full screen button is and click it, the video shows in full screen mode fine. But in non-full screen, all I see is black. I can click to play/pause the video, which starts/stops audio, but no video.

I've tried the normal gymnastics, eg, revert to IE10 (didn't work there either); disable flash add-on, close ie, re-enable; uninstall and re-install flash; and 1000 other things. Nothing has fixed it.

Any ideas?
